You can manually set up shipping zones or you can automate shipping using Easyship.
Shipping zones define where you ship and how shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
To create shipping zones:
-
Click Shipping & Pickup.
-
Click + Add Zone. If you already have shipping zones, click + Add Shipping Zone.
-
Enter a Zone name. This name is for internal use and shoppers will not see it.
-
Under Add one or more destinations, select the countries and regions you want to include in the zone.
-
Click Next.
-
Select how customers in this zone will receive their order:
-
Shipping. Ship to the countries or regions included in the zone. For more information, see Shipping Rate Options.
-
Local delivery. Deliver orders to addresses in specific ZIP or postal codes. For more information, see Local Delivery.
-
Pickup. Set a location where customers can collect their orders. For more information, see Pickup in Store.
-
-
Configure the selected delivery method.
-
Click Save.
Note
A country or region can only belong to one shipping zone.
If a region is already included in another shipping zone, it is disabled when creating or editing another zone and is marked in another zone.
For example, if Quebec is included in a Quebec shipping zone, Quebec cannot also be included in a Rest of Canada shipping zone.
Add additional Shipping Rates to a Shipping Zone
You can add additional delivery methods or rates to the zone after it is created by clicking + Add rate.
Editing a shipping zone changes its name and destinations. To change how customers in the zone receive their order, edit the rate instead. For more information, see Edit or Delete a Rate.
To edit shipping zones:
-
Click Shipping & Pickup.
-
Click the three horizontal dots icon (
) next to the shipping zone you want to edit and select Edit Shipping Zone.
-
Click Save after making your edits.
When you select Shipping, choose the type of shipping rate you want to use.
The available options are:
Set different shipping rates based on the total weight of the order.
For each tier, enter:
-
From (included)
-
Up to (excluding)
-
Rate
Click + Add tier to add additional weight ranges.
Keep in mind the following:
-
The weight used is the total weight of all the items in the cart. For example, if someone has a product that weighs 1 kg with a quantity of 2 and another product that weighs 3 kg, the cart will be 5 kg.
-
The default weight for products is zero if the weight is not set.
-
If the total weight of the cart falls outside of the weight range set in the shipping method and no other shipping method is available, the customer will not be able to purchase.
Local delivery allows you to restrict delivery to specific ZIP or postal codes within a shipping zone. When you select Local delivery, enter the ZIP or postal codes you deliver to in Ship to specific ZIP or postal codes, separated by commas.
If there is a range of ZIP or postal codes that start with the same number or characters, add an asterisk after the starting characters to include all variations.
For example, enter:
900*
to include all ZIP or postal codes that start with 900.
If your store offers free shipping above a certain amount, you can enable a free shipping progress bar that shows shoppers how much more they need to spend to reach the threshold for free shipping. The progress bar displays in the shopper's cart.
Note
The free shipping progress bar is only available if your store has one shipping zone, and that zone has a By Price rate that offers free shipping above a certain order value.
To enable the free shipping progress bar:
-
Click Shipping & Pickup.
-
Enable the Show free shipping progress bar toggle. Note this toggle can only be enabled if you offer free shipping with a minimum order value.

The shopper will receive an email with their tracking information. Following is an example email:
Merchants can add Pickup in Store as a delivery option at checkout. This allows shoppers to purchase items online and pick them up at a physical store location. Offering this option can significantly cut shipping costs and delivery times for retailers, while also increasing foot traffic to their physical stores. Additionally, it provides shoppers with a convenient and flexible shopping experience, enabling them to receive their purchases faster and potentially return or exchange items directly at the store.
You can add multiple pickup locations for your store. Each location is added as a separate pickup rate. The pickup in store option is free, you cannot add a fee.
To add an in-store pickup option:
-
Click Shipping & Pickup.
-
Create a new shipping zone or click + Add rate in an existing shipping zone.
-
Select Pickup as the delivery method.
-
Enter the Name at checkout.
-
Enter the pickup address and, optionally, pickup instructions. If your pickup address is the same as your business address (and it's already been configured in the store's Business Profile), select Pickup address is the same as the business address and your address details will populate automatically.
-
Click Save.
Note
-
If you add multiple pickup locations, only one can be selected at checkout.
-
For US stores, pickup availability is determined by matching the shopper's state to the state where the pickup location is configured. Pickup won't show for out-of-state customers even if they're geographically closer than in-state ones.
The location(s) will appear in the checkout screen for shoppers to select. After checking out, the shopper will receive an email receipt with the pickup location and any information you entered in the Pickup instructions (optional) field.
After a shopper comes to your store and picks up their order, you can mark it as picked up.
To mark an order as picked up:
